| 1 | ARRIVING TO MOSHI. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Meet you climbing guide for briefing and final gear check. Overnight at the hotel.. |
HOTEL IN MOSHI |
| 2 | MOSHI-MANDARA HUT (9, 020ft/2750m). Drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park gate at Marangu for entry registration. Start the trek to Mandara hut through thick rain forest. Have packed lunch on the way. Dinner and retire for the day. |
MANDARA HUT |
| 3 | MANDARA HUT-HOROMBO HUT(12, 2000ft/3720m,) Ascend through moorland with packed lunch on the way and end the day’s hiking at Horombo hut. Note: An extra day for acclimatization can be added by staying another night at Horombo hut. The day is spent on a hike to Mawenzi hut and back in the evening. |
HOROMBO HUT |
| 4 | HOROMBO HUT-KIBO HUT (15, 420ft/4700m). Walk up, across the saddle, to Kibo Hut. Dinner and rest till Midnight. |
KIBO HUT |
| 5 | KIBO HUT-SUMMIT (19, 340ft/5895m) Midnight trek to the summit via Gilman’s Point. After a short period of photo taking at Uhuru peak, descend to Kibo Hut for breakfast. Continue down to Horombo Hut for the day’s and night’s rest. |
SUMMIT DAY |
| 6 | HOROMBO HUT -MOSHIWalk down to the park gate then drive to the hotel in Moshi town. |
HOTEL IN MOSHI |
| 7 | DEPART MOSHI. Depart Moshi for onward travel or catch flight back home. |
